Sewing and fixing anew skirt to make it fit perfectly?
I have bought a skrit that is a bit small… its one that folds out and has a button inside and 1 out, its made of durex and has to slits for the buttons but Id like to make two more, but how, I really dont want to ruin the skirt nor do I want it to rip and wear where I made the new slits please help, where will I need to sew etc?
Can you simply move the buttons? Much easier than darning the old buttonholes and then remaking new ones.
Another possibility is a “cheater button”… sew the button onto a loop of small elastic, then button it. The elastic takes the stress.
