choosing my bridesmaids: will it be awkward?
in high school and a little after, my girlfriends and i were basically carrie, charlotte, samantha, and miranda: best friends and soulmates.
but my very Best Friend, let’s call her miranda, and i eventually drifted apart, we still keep in touch but not as much as i do with the other 2…let’s call them charlotte and samantha.
how awkward will it be to choose charlotte and samantha as my bridesmaids but not miranda? the three of them are still really close, in fact one of them is miranda’s roommate.
do i include her out of obligation and avoiding the tension (if any)? over the years, i’ve made closer friends. high school was 10 years ago but because i’m still connected by the other 2, i feel awkward…
