What would happen if a person had his/her tongue cut out?
For a story I’m writing, I need to know this. What would be the effects on a person’s life? How would eating be affected? Singing? Can one sing at all with no tongue? If my character has her tongue cut out, what would have to happen for her NOT to die of blood loss or infection afterwards? Is tongue reconstruction possible?
