How do I become a Doll seller/reseller?
Well I’ve spent a lot of money on auctions bidding for Barbie and fashion royalty dolls and realize that there is a huge market out there I could be a part of as a new seller, but I am not sure how to get started. I’d like to start on ebay and related sites but I am not sure how to acquire the merchandise (I am talking about brand new stuff not old stuff; that I already have and am sorting through to see what I will sell off). Does anyone have any ideas? If you are also a doll seller please reply. Thanks!

Since you’ve mentioned Barbie I’d suggest you try asking Mattel at their customer service link. I also found a link with the IRS since you’d be making money, charging taxes and taking deductible losses in shipping & inventory.
Now a place like eBay has people selling as either an afterthought or secondary/older items so you may need to ask on the eBay website about how a business is started or inventory is sold. With eBay you need a routing number to take PayPal (as an option) for your customers to pay for their items directly, but that’s another story altogether.
